Developing future experts: Celebrating our apprentices' qualification success
What it's like to work at Intact Insurance.

This week, we're shining a spotlight on the achievements of three of our apprentices. Elisha Snape, Bright Wansaksri and Lucie Everett have successfully completed their Level 4 Insurance Professional Apprenticeships.
All three apprentices started their journey in 2022 under our Risk Control Apprenticeship Programme. Over the course of the three years, they've built strong foundations in Risk Management, and are continuing their development within our Risk Consulting team. As well as their Level 4 qualification, they've also achieved their DIP CII qualifications, and gained invaluable practical experience.
Elisha, Bright, and Lucie have each demonstrated exceptional commitment, resilience, and professionalism throughout their apprenticeships. From overcoming challenges to building strong relationships and delivering high-quality work, they’ve shown what it means to grow through experience and determination.
Their success is testament to their hard work, the support of their mentors and the wider Risk Consulting team here at Intact Insurance, and the expert guidance provided by Davies Academy.
We’re incredibly proud of their achievements and excited to see them continue to grow and shape the future of Risk Consulting at Intact Insurance.
After three incredible years, I’m proud to have completed my apprenticeship and say I am qualified as a Level 4 Insurance Professional. Along the way, I’ve also achieved my Dip CII and NEBOSH General Certificate. Now working as a Risk Control Surveyor, I carry out solo surveys, build strong client and broker relationships, and genuinely love what I do. My journey began with NIG and continues with Intact Insurance, where I’m excited to dive deeper into the work ahead.
Elisha Snape
The past three years has been a rollercoaster ride of many successes, learning points and the acquisition of NIG by Intact Insurance. The Risk Control Apprenticeship has been an amazing gateway into developing my professional career towards becoming a fully qualified Risk Control Surveyor, allowing me to complete my DIP CII, NEBOSH General Certificate, and most recently accomplishing the Level 4 Insurance Professional qualification. I am now completing my own cases, carrying out solo surveys on a wide range of risk types, allowing me to build my relationships with both brokers and clients which is a highlight of the role. Now that I am an Intact Insurance Risk Control Surveyor, I am excited to broaden my knowledge and expertise, allowing me to access new possibilities. I look forward to continuing my journey and career.
Bright Wansaksri
The last three years has consisted of many exciting and stressful days; however, the hard work has paid off. I am proud to say that I have recently completed my Level 4 Insurance Professional Apprenticeship. Although there were challenging times I am beyond pleased that I have achieved my DIP CII. The Risk Control Surveyor Apprenticeship has been an amazing hands-on experience that has given me an insight into the industry and helped develop my professional career and myself personally. Since attending accompanied visits at the beginning of my career to now completing my own solo surveys on a variety of risks and forming great relationships with clients, brokers, and underwriters, it has allowed me to build my confidence and skills. From starting at NIG and continuing my growth with Intact Insurance, I am excited for the journey ahead. I am looking forward to the opportunities to keep growing my knowledge.
